Recovery mode
If something is preventing you from starting or using ARC Browser, for example corrupted settings or an issue with a specific system in the database, you might be able to get it back to working order by starting it in recovery mode. To do this, place an empty file in the root of your device's main storage and name it "arc_browser_recovery_mode.txt". Then make sure ARC Browser is completely closed and restart it.
Instead of the regular interface, ARC Browser will now show you a simple recovery menu with a number of options that might help fix a broken install, or at the very least help you make a backup if you haven't done so already.
ARC Browser will continue to start in recovery mode (and prevent access to the regular interface) until you delete or rename the "arc_browser_recovery_mode.txt" file.
